My brother and I wish to reiterate to you the positive experience we had with Alain Pinel as a company and more specifically, with Jami Arami, our superb realtor. As you no doubt realize, listing a home after the death of a loved one - especially a 95 1/2 year old parent - can be a sad and stressful event with all sorts of emotions and memories that bubble up. Jami has the kind of personality that is both comforting and reassuring. Her kindness and thoughtfulness was equal to her vast knowledge and attention to every detail. In other words, she is an accomplished businesswoman and realtor who appears to be at the top of her game and she is also lucky enough to have the kind of personality that makes people feel comfortable and taken care of. After the first meeting, Dave and I knew we were in excellent hands. She told us exactly what to do to get the house ready in a hurry so it would sell quickly and helped us so much with getting painters, people to haul, etc. Once the house was ready, it sold in two weeks and she kept both of us abreast of what was happening during the entire process. Dave and I are so grateful to your company and most especially to Jami Arami. We would give her our highest recommendation and we are very thankful for her hard work that resulted in a quick sale at a higher price than expected, which became a win-win situation for everyone involved.

We are writing this letter on behalf of one of Alain Pinel’s agents, Jami Arami, who works out of the Menlo Park branch. She was assigned to us to help us relocate our family to the Bay Area from Boston with the Weichert relocation company (through Merck).

From the start Jami never let the additional requirements of the relocation company phase her. Nor was she phased—but was instead sympathetic—when she saw how dismayed we were initially by the cost of housing in this area. My first impressions of Jami were that we were in the presence of someone who was not only shrewd, knowledgeable and organized, but also abundantly kind and understanding. I cannot express how potent this mixture of qualities is in someone doing what Jami does: helping people in the rather complex and emotional task of finding a new home.

Not long after, our first impressions were strengthened into lasting ones. These are some of many, many wonderful things we can say about Jami: she is incredibly professional in the best sense of the word, letting her instincts and for the lack of a better word “antennae” inform her, but also gently inquiring, vocalizing important impressions and keeping the dialogue going, the momentum of the search steady and the tone positive; she always listened to and trusted our opinions and never tried to convince us otherwise; she has an extraordinary attention to detail, indeed going above and beyond in this respect, impressing my husband and myself, both detail---oriented types ourselves; she has a wonderful sense of humor which came in handy considering the pouring rain that greeted us the entire week I was out in “sunny” California house hunting; she is a tough negotiator, always advocating for us throughout the process.

In a relatively short time, Jami impressed so completely, in her personal and professional qualities, that we trusted unconditionally. In effect, it was this trust that allowed us to have a strong and effective partnership with Jami and produced what we all agree was a very successful outcome. One story perfectly illustrates the degree to which we came to rely on and trust Jami: in the heat of the negotiations, when the bid on the house was accepted and the rush to show proof of financing ensued, and Weichert was demanding more and more paperwork for everyone, and my husband was very busy at work he simply could not find the time to go to the Alain Pinel office to sign paperwork Jami said had to be signed. So she drove to his office and presented him with enormous stack of papers to sign. Though he is usually a cautious and careful person, we trusted Jami so absolutely he signed everything with minimal inspection. We can think of no greater endorsement of someone than the statement thatyou trust them absolutely.

The happy ending of the story is that we feel she deserves all the credit for finding us an exquisitely beautiful home that we are simply delighted to be living in. It goes without saying that we have the highest regard for Jami and will happily recommend her unconditionally and enthusiastically to others with our highest endorsement.

We can assure you that Alain Pinel is the most fortunate of agencies to have Jami Arami.
